How We Met...
Manny was in charge of the Building and Grounds Department at the College where we both worked in New York City. He approached me one day and invited me out to lunch. I told him that "I don't go out with married men". He had a hard time convincing me that he was divorced as he pursued me down the corridors of the campus whenever he saw me. After a few weekend trips to visit him in his home in the Poconos Pennsylvania I was convinced that he wasn't married since he lived alone.
Engagement Story...
Date: June 10th, 2006
Manny and I had discussed getting married and agreed that we were right for each other. Funny thing is that he never formally proposed. It was an early evening when I arrived home and Manny was in the kitchen with my son Johnny preparing dinner for us. Manny asked if I would get something from the refrigerator for him. There on the refrigerator shelf was a tiny Easter basket when I asked him what it was he told me to look inside. Inside was the jewelry box containing an engagement ring. I started to cry when he asked me "Would you marry me?"

The Wedding...
Date: Sunday, July 13th, 2008

The ceremony will be held on the Front Lawn of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort at 3:00 pm. If their is inclement weather the ceremony will be moved to the Veranda.

There will be a cocktail party following the ceremony at 4:00 pm on the Veranda of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.

The reception will be held at 6:00 pm in The Worthington Ballroom of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
