Fishing
Enjoy fishing on the legendary Delaware River famous for its seasonal runs of Shad, Stripped Bass along with strong resident populations of trophy Small Mouth Bass, Walleye, Channel Catfish, Yellow Perch, Rock Bass, Blue Gill and Muskellunge. Commonly referred to by the local fisherman as the "Big D", the Delaware River is truly one of the last wild and scenic big rivers on the East Coast. Whether fishing from the exclusive Shawnee shoreline or from one of our boats, a valid PA fishing license is required, which can be purchased at the Shawnee General Store. Rod rentals, fishing bait and tackle are available on location at Shawnee River Adventures Canoe Base.

Guided Fishing Trips
Shawnee offers quarter day (2hrs or less), half day (4hr) and whole day (8hr) trips in Spinning and Fly-Fishing. A Fishing Adventure Guide will accompany you on a drift boat style trip through the fish-filled water of the renowned Delaware River.

Personalized fishing trips are available to meet the requirements of novice to expert anglers of all age groups. Whether you want to fish the shoreline, cast at dawn or at night, or target a particular variety of fish, our Fishing Guides at Shawnee Fishing Adventures will customize a trip to meet your specific needs.

Lead by our head guide, Will Styreski, our guides will lead you to some of the best fishing on the Delaware River.

Boat, life vests, equipment and fishing tackle provided. If you have your own equipment, a discount is available. Valid PA or New Jersey fishing license is required and not sold on the premises. Licenses can be purchased locally at the Shawnee General Store. 570.421.0956. Advanced reservations are required.
