work with athletes either in private practice
or at a university/college counseling center.
She enjoys running, snowboarding, mt. biking,
traveling...but more than anything spending

How We Met...
|
| Although
we have known each other for nearly 20 years
(!)....and grew up only 1 mile down the
road from each other, we did not start dating
until 2 summers ago. After hanging out a
few times, we knew we had a lot in common.
Fate...or fortune started to take its course
after that - a company Jason was applying
to had an office up in Albany where he interviewed
and was accepted almost instantly! Since
then, we have had countless adventures and
great times together - from alligator sightings
in the Florida everglades and vacationing
in the Florida keys, tubing up in NH, ,
becoming godparents for the 1st time, training
for a half marathon together....and finally
planning our wedding - and the rest of our
lives - together:)

| During
one of the few weekends we were actually
staying in Albany and had no plans to travel
anywhere, Jason planned a picnic up at Saratoga
State Park - one of our favorite places
to go. We decided to go on a nice walk around
the trails in the park before eating. I
noticed that it started to seem like we
had been walking for a very long time and
I was getting pretty hungry, but when I
turned to Jason to tell him this, he was
down on one knee with a ring in hand. I
was SO surprised and completely happy! I
forgot how tired and hungry I had been:)
The diamond is from my grandmother's engagement
ring and his friend actually made the ring
for us so it is completely unique and more
than I could have hoped for! ...of course,
I said yes:) |
